Make a gift.
You can help support our health care heroes’ efforts by making a gift to COVID-19 Emergency Relief. Learn more and donate at uchealthnocofoundation.org/covid-19.
Additionally, donations to our area of Greatest Need will provide resources to address urgent needs related to this crisis. Visit our donation page and select Greatest Need in the Designation drop-down box.
Donate blood.
The UCHealth Garth Englund Blood Center has put out an urgent request for blood donors. Here’s what you need to know:
- Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, it is still safe to donate and receive blood, according to the Food and Drug Administration. Donors must undergo the usual screenings, and in addition, they will be asked if they recently traveled to any of the major coronavirus outbreak countries, or if they or anyone close to them has been diagnosed with or is suspected of having COVID-19.
