The event netted over $255,000 for local medical research. Right here in our community, researchers in the medical and academic arenas are collaborating to keep pushing the frontiers of medicine. Research is a key part of patient care, and it benefits all of us—current and future patients.

The case for philanthropic support for research is strong: Research doesn’t pay for itself, nor does it necessarily provide a monetary return on investment. We must invest in research because it’s discovery, it’s the root of innovation, and ultimately, it’s what improves lives.
