Employee Scholarships vs Ascend Program
- Employee scholarships: This program is generously funded by donors of the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation. The scholarship award goes directly to the institution of your choice to support tuition for the program of your choice.
- Ascend: A system-wide program, Ascend is offered in partnership with Guild Education. UCHealth will fully fund a selection of clinical certifications as well as foundational learning programs such as English language and college prep. UCHealth will also fund select degree programs in social work, behavioral health, and other areas. These programs target critical staffing areas, and support for employees’ growth into these roles will help address the shortage of clinical health care workers.
- Employees can choose from three types of programs: fully funded, partially funded, or tuition reimbursement. For more information on Ascend, visit: https://careers.uchealth.org/pages/ascend
For questions on if you are eligible for both programs, contact us at noco-foundation@uchealth.org.
