The Human Bean’s
Coffee for a Cure

Friday, October 16

On Friday, October 16, The Human Bean locations across northern Colorado will donate 100 percent of sales to support local cancer patients through UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation’s Oncology Patient and Family Assistance Fund.

This fund helps ease the financial burden many patients face during treatment. Contributions provide direct assistance for essential expenses that insurance often does not cover, including household bills, medical costs and transportation-related expenses that help patients access the care they need.

Over the past 21 years, Coffee for a Cure has become a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose. Together, we can continue making a meaningful difference for local cancer patients when they need it most.

Visit a Human Bean location on Friday, October 16 or make a gift using the form below to support the cause.

Real Patient Story

Before her cancer diagnosis, Molly worked for a cleaning company. The physical demands of the job became unsustainable as treatment left her fatigued and with reduced stamina, forcing her to stop working. The loss of her income placed significant financial strain on her household, which now relies solely on her husband’s salary.

Despite cutting expenses wherever possible, the family could only cover basic necessities such as utilities and food. Medical bills, prescription costs and frequent trips to appointments added further financial pressure.

Support from the foundation has been instrumental in helping Molly and her family maintain stable housing during her care journey.
