At UCHealth, giving isn’t just something we do; it’s who we are.

Many of us may have benefited from an employee-funded program or initiative without realizing it was made possible thanks to the generosity of our colleagues. Our UCHealth Employee Giving program provides funding for services, initiatives, patients, education, research, and so much more. And, what you donate here, stays here.

Aside from system-wide programs, your donation to UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation benefits your coworkers at PVH, MCR, Greeley Hospital, and northern Colorado clinics. For every $2 donated by employees, $1 is matched by UCHealth to the same fund, extending the impact and voice of employee generosity.

The impact of a recurring $10 donation

1. Employee Well-being and Resilience

The well-being of our employees is deeply important to UCHealth. Through initiatives that contribute to the physical, mental, and/or emotional well-being of our workforce, ensuring that we care for those who care for patients at our northern Colorado clinics and hospitals is a top priority.

For this reason, UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation created a fund for employee resilience. Donations to the fund will support employee-focused projects that will allow us to continue providing world-class care to both patients and each other.

To support, select “NCF Employee Well-being and Resiliency” as the fund for your donation.

2. Employee Scholarships

By giving $10 per pay period, you’re funding over half of a scholarship award for a colleague who is pursuing further education. Scholarship awards start at $500 and can be applied towards an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program. Information regarding how to apply and eligibility can be found here.

3. Employee Hardship Relief Program (EHRP)

This fund provides short-term financial assistance for critical, basic needs to eligible employees who are experiencing financial distress as a result of an unforeseen circumstance. It operates on the availability of funds and is administered through a confidential select group of EHRP Committee members. Employees who may be eligible for the program include those who have experienced:

  • Unexpected death of an immediate family member
  • Loss of income due to an unexpected serious illness or accident (self, spouse or child)
  • Loss of personal property due to act of nature (e.g., fire, wind, tornado, flood, earthquake, blizzard)
  • Unforeseen catastrophic event

Select “Employee Hardship Relief Program – All Employees” as the fund for your donation.

4. Family Medicine Center (FMC) Food Pantry

Since opening in 2017, the FMC Food Pantry has been committed to providing free, nutritious food to our community members in need, employees included. With just $10 per pay period:

  • FMC Food Pantry can purchase 1 gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, and 2.5 pounds of produce utilizing all local purveyors
  • 1 person in our community would have access to fresh produce every week, including 3 bananas, 3 apples, 1 avocado, 1 cucumber, 1 head of lettuce, 1 pound of potatoes, and 1 onion

Consistent donations add up. A $10 per pay period donation for 1 year would:

  • Source 530 pounds of food, which can feed one family for up to 6 months
  • Supply rice and beans to 8 families for an entire year

Select “Find a Fund,” search, and choose “PVH FMC Food Pantry” as the fund for your donation.
