As the world faces a pandemic, our community is coming together to address an unprecedented challenge unlike anything most of us have ever seen. Neighbors are helping neighbors. Pharmacies and grocery stores are staying open to serve the public, and their employees are working tirelessly to stock and deliver essentials. On social media, messages of gratitude and hope abound. People are sharing ways to cope, through virtual fitness and meditation classes, video church services, and more. On the front lines, we have our health care workers.

UCHealth is grateful for the outpouring of community support for our staff during the pandemic. Across Colorado, people are recognizing and thanking health care workers with videos and messages.

Through your donations during our cancer patient assistance campaign last fall/winter, we grew our assistance funds to over $195,000.

Poudre Valley Prenatal (PVP) provides pregnancy care for low-income women. The PVP was established with the help of philanthropic dollars, including an endowment that helps support the PVP to this day.

In its September 2019 newsletter, the Office of Suicide prevention highlighted UCHealth as a Rockstar Partner.

Our cancer patient assistance funds help patients with the financial distress they can experience as they undergo the often lengthy treatments a cancer diagnosis involves. We have an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 by the end of the year to replenish and grow our cancer patient assistance funds. These dollars help pay expenses such as rent, mortgage, utilities, gasoline and more.
